CANCELLATIONS
Ready-to-Ship Items:
Cancellations are accepted within 24 hours of purchase. The cancellation time can be extended until your order is shipped.
If you wish to cancel after shipping, please contact us at hello@forestsandmeadows.com. The usual procedure is as follows: do not accept the package from the post office. It will be returned to us, and upon its return, we can issue a refund minus shipping and packaging costs.
Express Courier Shipments (DPD, DHL, FedEx) for Ready-to-Ship Items

Note: Return shipping costs may be the same or higher as shipping costs, making it impractical to cancel low-priced items in this manner.
Cancellations for Custom-Made Items
Cancellations for custom-made items can be accepted. If significant time has been invested in conversations and designing a unique item for you, such as a tablet-woven belt, a collection of plant-dyed yarn, handwoven fabric, or other customized pieces, we can cancel your order and issue a refund. The refund will be adjusted based on the value of the time already invested in the commission.
If production has already begun on an item exclusive to you, with individual names, signs, dates, etc., we can still accommodate a cancellation of your order. However, the refund will be adjusted based on the value of the time already invested in the commission, comprising at least 40% of the original price.
RETURNS
Returns are accepted. If the item is as described and undamaged, the buyer is responsible for both shipping and return costs, as well as any applicable import taxes, unless otherwise agreed upon in private conversations. Buyer is responsible for shipping items in their original condition.
We sincerely hope you understand that, as a small business, each package is handled and packed with care. We strive to maintain buyer-friendly prices and do not include return shipping costs in the price of our items. Therefore, we are unable to offer free returns for items that arrived undamaged and as described in the item's description.
REFUNDS
Lost Items
Lost items will be refunded. Generally, a package is considered lost if it hasn't reached you within 2-5 months, depending on your location, or if it has been officially confirmed as lost by the post office.
Damaged Items
If the item was damaged during shipping, we will issue a refund. If you notice damage while accepting a package from the postman, please take photos, check the package's weight, and file a claim at the post office if possible. Send us a message with photos and other information that would assist us in filing a claim for damaged items.
Shipping overcharges
We strive to calculate accurate shipping prices and display this information on the website. However, when purchasing multiple items, calculation errors may occasionally occur in the system, though this is rare. If we observe that you paid too much for shipping, we will promptly issue a refund. If you believe you were overcharged for shipping and haven't received a refund, please kindly send us a message.
Items not as described
If you feel that the item is not as described please send us a message.
If you received a different item from what you ordered, please send us a message. We will send a replacement or issue a refund. Other options such as store credit or partial refund can be agreed upon private conversation.
If you received a different quantity of items or an item is missing from your package please send us a message. We will send a replacement or issue a refund. Other options such as store credit or partial refund can be agreed upon private conversation.
Unclaimed packages
If the item was returned to the shop because the package wasn't collected from the post office, wasn't accepted from a courier, or the address and contacts were wrongly provided by the buyer then we can issue a refund for the item minus both shipping and return costs, as well as any applicable import taxes.
We will gladly send the package again if the buyer agrees to pay re-shipment costs or if otherwise agreed via private conversation.
