Fingering weight hand-dyed wool yarn pack "Winter Berries". One set contains 4 plant-dyed colors: Variegated purple, Ice, and two shades of Blue.

This yarn set is very special because some of the wool was dyed with my treasured plants from my parents' garden - Woad. This plant has a very rich history lasting more than millennia and nowadays Woad-dyed yarn is quite rare even in my shop because it takes a lot of effort to use it for dyeing. The variegated purple skein was dyed not only with Woad but with Madder as well - another very ancient plant with magnificent heritage.

I'm particularly happy about this colorway and I sincerely hope that this set will bring long hours of joy while turning it into your creations. <3

• This wool is mulesing-free. The wool itself comes from the United Kingdom, Norway, and New Zealand, then it is spun into yarn here in Lithuania and it has an Oeko-Tex certificate.
